Ruff Housing is exceptionally proud of our amazing and diverse team. We look for team members who have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within our organization. Our thorough and detailed training program consists of online training modules, in-person classes, and training shifts with mentors. Each team member must complete levels of training and various certifications that focus on safety protocols, cleaning procedures, dog behavior, and dog enrichment to ensure your pets are having a safe and fulfilling experience while in our care!
Just like we value the pets in our care as individuals, we know the importance of having team members from all different areas of expertise and life experiences. We have frequent “lunch and listen” events with every location so that team members can share their ideas to help improve our business.

We are active members of several national organizations and proud to be an award-winning pet care provider.
Ruff Housing is proud to support many nonprofit organizations within our community. We partner with several local shelters and animal rescue organizations to help provide healing and care for those animals in our community that are less fortunate. Many of our staff members volunteer with these organizations. Ruff Housing also sponsors an annual fence-build where a team of Ruff Housing employees works with Unchain Forsyth to build fenced in play spaces for dogs in need.
